The deal, straight up

What we do

AI setup and training: we sit with you, set up AI tools in your own accounts, and teach you to use them. We also build websites and small tools with AI. We give advice and hands-on help. We don't sell software, and we don't take over your accounts; everything happens with you in the room.

The free intro call

Every engagement starts the same way: our short booking form, then a free 30-minute phone call. The form comes first on purpose; your answers are how we show up prepared instead of wasting your free minutes on basics. No card, no obligation, no sales script.

On the call we hear what you're after, tell you honestly what AI can and can't do for it, and point you the right way. If a working session makes sense, we book it from there. Either of us can end a call or session early and nobody owes anybody anything for the free part.

Paid work: $50 an hour online, $100 an hour in person

After the free call, working sessions cost $50 an hour online (Zoom or a similar video call). In-person sessions cost $100 an hour and happen in the San Francisco Bay Area only; we confirm your location works when we book.

We agree on what we're doing before the clock starts, and we bill after the work, by invoice or in person. No packages, no contracts. You can stop at any time and pay only for the time already worked.

Cancelling and rescheduling

Life happens. Give us a day's notice when you can, and there is never a cancellation fee. Missed your free call? Just rebook it.

Because paid work is billed after it happens, there's usually nothing to refund. If we ever bill something you think is wrong, tell us and we'll make it right.

What we promise, and what we can't

We promise careful, honest work, and a straight answer when AI isn't the right tool for your problem.

We can't promise a specific business result. AI tools change fast, and your business decisions stay yours. We're not lawyers, accountants, or financial advisors, and nothing we say is that kind of advice.

If something we did causes a problem, the most we owe you is what you paid us for that work.

Your stuff stays yours

Everything we set up in your accounts during a session belongs to you: the accounts, the prompts, the automations, the documents, the websites we build for you. Keep them, change them, never call us again; they're yours either way.

Our own teaching materials, our internal tools, and this website stay ours.

The AI tools belong to their makers

We build on tools from companies like Anthropic (the maker of Claude) and others. Their prices, terms, and privacy policies apply to your use of their tools, and they change on those companies' schedules, not ours. We help you pick well and we tell you what a tool costs before we set it up, but we don't control the companies behind them.

Work we won't do

We can decline work that's illegal, deceptive, or harmful. That includes anything designed to mislead your own customers.

If something goes wrong

Talk to us first. Almost everything is fixable with a conversation, and we'd rather fix it than argue about it. These terms are governed by California law.

Same promise as our privacy page: we update this page and move the date at the top before a change takes effect.
